BRANDON ANTONY

Following my passion for sports broadcasting, I’ve built a strong foundation in multimedia journalism across radio and television, beginning at the University of Missouri and continuing into my professional career.

Currently, I serve as a Multimedia Journalist at ABC 6 News (KAAL-TV) in Rochester, MN, where I pitch and develop original stories, report in the field, and produce broadcast packages for evening newscasts. My role includes conducting interviews, shooting and editing video, delivering live and pre-recorded reports, and contributing to sports coverage by producing highlight content.

Prior to this, I gained extensive on-air experience in radio with KATE 1450 AM (Alpha Media) in Albert Lea, MN and Raccoon Valley Radio (KDLS, KGRA, KKRF) in Perry, IA. I managed daily broadcast operations including voice tracking, commercial production, and live reporting. As a morning show host, I delivered news, weather, sports, and community updates, while also serving as a play-by-play announcer for multiple local teams across football, basketball, baseball, and softball. I also produced written sports content and maintained station programming logs.

My broadcasting experience began at the University of Missouri, where I covered Missouri athletics through KCOU Radio and gained national exposure reporting from the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville, including coverage of Drew Lock and interviews with analysts such as Kurt Warner. I also worked with NBC-affiliate KOMU-TV, producing and reporting local news stories for broadcast and digital platforms, and co-hosted a weekly sports talk show, The Breakfast of Champions.
